I have been diligently entering the monthly contests for the demonstrators for The Angel Company. It's hard to be disappointed month after month. I was so excited to see my cards on the website as a winner of the Terrific Trio contest. You are to make 3 cards using 2 stamp sets. I used For all Seasons and Trendy Greetings. You can see it hereon TAC's website: http://theangelcompany.net/CW_Aug07_Trio.html My ultimate goal is to be a catalogue designer!! Here's a photo of the cards that I took. Sorry about the flower background.

I actually made this card between my cousin's wedding and reception!! What else is there to do in between! The green paper is from TAC's Gentle Beginnings 8x8 paper pack. There are lots of stickles on the frosting that don't show up in the picture. This cake is retired, but I'm hoping for some really great new wedding sets in the new catty. Speaking of new catty, I leave tomorrow morning for Kansas City for the unveiling!! Looking forward to meeting other angels and lots of inspiration and ideas to share with all of you!

Coaster Calendars

I am starting early for my fall craft shows, and came up with these cute calendars. They use different papers from The Angel Company's wing it collections. You can get 4 pieces out of just 1 sheet of paper. Just cut the paper into a 4x4 piece, round the corners, glue it onto a coaster, then add a calendar. I got mine from www.stamponthis.com Add a clip, some ribbon, and a magnet. I have also made some with post-it notes on them.

Waterfall Card

I received a waterfall card in a swap by Shirley Hotop (Angel #765). I liked it so much I decided to change the colors and images and make one myself. You pull on the ribbon and each flap flips up-and they are not that hard to make. This is one of the cards for my May Stamp Camps. We are making 5 birthday cards using this stamp set Celebrate before it's retired.

I entered these in a contest called Card to Crop-they didn't win, but I wanted to share them. It shows how easy it is to take a card design and make it into a scrapbook page. I used the stamp sets Running Stiches and Sweet Sayings, both from The Angel Company. I put the corners in my 1" circle punch to get that look.

Hope you enjoy!

There are great ideas here using the April Stamp of the Month.
http://www.theangelcompany.net/sotm.html
It can be yours for only $6.95 w/$30 purchase!

For my March Stamp Camp we made 5 cards using the Stamp set Ladybug Hello. I used the DCWV matchmakers cardstock that has the great texture and white core which allowed me to sand it with the sanding blocks. I added crystal sticklesto the flower. (It seems like I add them to everything lately!) I rounded the sides of the red cardstock with my 1" circle punch by putting it through and pulling it out the middle of the punch.

These are a few projects I did for my April Stamp Camp. The ladies really enjoyed making them. We used the stamp set Roses Whisper.

Welcome to my blog!

Here is a card idea I hope you will enjoy!

For this card I used a stamp from The Angel Company set Fanciful Flowers. I used a rock n' roll technique. I inked up my flower with Belle Rose Palette ink pad, and then rolled the edges in L'Amore Red Palette ink pad. I stamped the flower on white cardstock, layered that on red, and layer that on black. I put a piece of paper from A Little Whimsy paper pack (The Angel Company) on the bottom of a green card and added a strip of black. I added some scrappers floss and put the flower on with a pop dot.

The Angel Company has released the Spring Supplement!! You can check out all of our new stuff at http://sandy.ismyangel.net/Products/Default.aspx?cid=253
